I've always been captivated by our feathered friends and the love I have for being at home in the garden with my dogs and flowers. Watching the tiny wren with its perky, upright tail flitting through our garden fence, or listening to the song thrush's random, crack pot melody repeating through the trees, never fails to bring me joy and get my creative juices flowing.

To capture the intricate textures of my subjects, I use a simple technique: sprinkling a pinch of salt onto the wet paint. This creates organic patterns, adding depth and character to each piece.
